In 2000, the KDLP program was initiated by Professor Lee, who had recently retired from Ewha Woman’s University. The primary concerns of the program were centered around the kindergarten’s English teaching methods, as they did not meet the high global expectations set by Korean society. Professor Lee dedicated her knowledge and resources to the program for decades and eventually established a team of expert panelists from her disciples.

Since the first creativity center was established in Jungja in 2006, and in Bundang in 2008, KDLP has proven its effectiveness and pedagogical importance. The program is evidence-based and offers learning strategies to support the goal of improving English literature and science achievement.

Currently, KDLP provides quality education from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 4, without the need for an international school program. The program promises young children the ability to learn English, even if they attend regular elementary school.
