분당 KDLP창의샘에 오신것을 환영합니다.분당 KDLP는 2006년 정자동을 시작으로 2008년 유아이중언어학회 본부로서 KDLP분원들의 role model이 되고 있습니다.
저희 KDLP가 추구하는 학습은 ‘영어는 배우는 것이 아니라 뭔가를 배우기 위하여 도구로서 사용하는 영어’입니다. 그저 영어만을 할 수 있는 것이 아니라 영어를 통하여 논리와 문학, 아카데믹한 성과를 가져오는 Literacy를 위한 교육이어야 한다는 것입니다.
그를 위하여 이화여자대학교 유아교육과 이경우교수와 서울대학교 언어학과Dr. Greg교수는 California공립학교 프로그램인 KDLP를 한국언어의 체계에 맞게 견고하게 적용시켰습니다. 이중언어교육(Dual language)프로그램은 영어만을 강조하여 성급하게 단기적 가시적 효과를 내기 보다는 모국어를 존중하는 사고아래 long-term 계획을 가지고 아이가 성장하는 길을 따라가면서 지속적인 언어적 자극을 줄 수 있어야 한다고 믿습니다. 어린이의 두뇌 속에 두 가지의 언어시스템이 서로 가지를 치고 통합할 수 있는 시간적 여유를 줄 수 있어야 하기 때문입니다.
저희 창의샘에서는 이러한 목표를 이루기 위하여 유아기에서부터의 연령별 발달과정에 가장 적합한 교육과정, 교수방법, 쫀쫀하게 짜여진 커리큘럼, 그리고 가장 주의깊게 여겨야 하는 정서지능의 함양을 위하여, 충분하지만 넘치지 않는 범위에서의 지식,감성, 창의력을 제공합니다. 최고의 환경과 최고의 교사진, 그리고 최고의 커리큘럼을 통하여 아이들을 위하여 노력하고 있습니다.

Our vision at KDLP Creativity Center is, in partnership with our parents, to educate, challenge, and empower our students to become productive and responsible members of a changing society by providing a rigorous, forward looking, and nurturing environment
Belief
We firmly believe that every child is capable of learning and should be provided with the tools to succeed. We are committed to fostering a lifelong love of learning and empowering our students to become self-directed learners who take an active role in their education. We recognize that children learn in a multitude of ways and that it is our responsibility as educators to embrace this diversity and provide a flexible learning environment that accommodates different learning styles. Our staff is dedicated to supporting each child's unique needs and abilities and helping them achieve their full potential.
