01 AR (Accelerated Readers)

The K12 reading program, widely used throughout the nation, has recently made its most significant advancement yet. By encouraging students to develop a goal-oriented approach to reading and providing teachers with the tools to set and monitor personalized goals, the program is helping to promote growth and progress among students like never before.

 

02 Book Report and Creative Writing

Every week, students will write what they have read on their book reports. This may help students to understand the story properly as well as activating their creative and critical thinking skills by responding a variety of questions by themselves. 

 

03 RAZ Kids

Raz Kids is an extensive resource that provides differentiated reading instruction to students. With access to over a thousand texts, the program aids in differentiation, ensuring that each student is reading at their level. In addition to the vast library, teachers can also access various resources such as lesson plans, worksheets, graphic organizers, assessment tools, comprehension quizzes, fluency passages, and readers' theater scripts.

To further customize the reading experience, teachers can search for books by level, specific series or genre, and skills such as decoding, high-frequency word recognition, and sound/symbol recognition. This level of flexibility allows teachers to cater to individual student needs and promote personalized learning.

* Develop independent, confident readers with a proven leveled reading program

* Students read independently and progress through the levels at their own pace.

*Engaging fiction and nonfiction reading selection, illustrations, and photography capture students’ interest.

*Simple self-assessments help students indentify areas of weakness.

* Components provide additional practice opportunities for students who need to work on specific skills.
